A man was killed, and three others sustained injuries after a concrete roof collapsed during construction work near Khawas Pur Khushi Market on the outskirts of Lalamusa.

GUJRAT, Jul 09 (APP): A man was killed, and three others sustained injuries after a concrete roof collapsed during construction work near Khawas Pur Khushi Market on the outskirts of Lalamusa.

According to Rescue 1122 sources, the incident occurred when a prefabricated concrete roof collapsed during installation, trapping four workers under the debris.

The deceased was identified as Shah Zaman, 52, who was rescued in critical condition. Rescue personnel administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before shifting him to the Trauma Centre at Lalamusa Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The injured were identified as Adnan Ali, 32, Rab Shah, 26, and Zafar, 25.

Rescue teams retrieved all the victims from the debris and shifted the injured to the hospital for medical treatment.
