RAWALPINDI, Jul 07 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Capt. (R) Nadeem Nasir has said that public service, transparent governance, and timely resolution of citizens’ issues are among the top priorities of the district administration.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) Vice President Zahid Bakhtawari, who called on him to congratulate him on assuming his new responsibilities and conveyed his best wishes. Former RCB Vice President Inayatullah was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on Rawalpindi’s development, improvement of civic facilities, public welfare initiatives, ongoing development projects, and other matters of mutual interest. Zahid Bakhtawari also presented a bouquet to the Deputy Commissioner.
Capt. (R) Nadeem Nasir said that the district administration would maintain close coordination and cooperation with all relevant institutions, elected public representatives, and social figures to ensure effective implementation of development and welfare projects and provide better facilities to citizens.
He thanked Zahid Bakhtawari and Inayatullah for their visit and congratulatory wishes, adding that all government departments and public representatives would work together to meet public expectations. He said that every possible step would be taken to ensure timely resolution of citizens’ problems, promote an efficient and transparent administrative system, and accelerate the pace of development projects.
