RAWALPINDI, Jul 07 (APP):Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Region Babar Sarfraz Alpa held a meeting with a delegation of the Anjuman-e-Tajran Rawalpindi, led by President Rawalpindi Cantonment Traders Association Munir Baig Mirza, to discuss issues faced by the business community and ensure their prompt resolution.
The delegation included traders from various commercial areas, including Saddar Bazaar, Tench Bhatta, Dhoke Hassanabad, Rehmanabad, and Chaklala Scheme-III.
During the meeting held at the Regional Police Office, traders shared their concerns and presented suggestions aimed at further improving the business environment.
The RPO assured the delegation that their recommendations would be reviewed and necessary steps would be taken for their implementation.
He said that the purpose of the meeting was to provide maximum facilitation to traders and address their problems through effective coordination.
Speaking on the occasion, Babar Sarfraz Alpa thanked the traders for their valuable input and said that, in line with the vision of the Punjab government, relevant officers had been directed at all levels to address the issues faced by the business community and act upon their suggestions.
He stated that traders play the role of the backbone of the economy and their concerns were being addressed on a priority basis. He added that all possible measures were being taken to facilitate the business community and improve public service delivery.
The RPO also appreciated the cooperation of traders in operations against encroachments, saying that collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the business community was essential for maintaining an organized and secure commercial environment.
