Rupee gains 01 paisa against Dollar
ISLAMABAD, Jul 06 (APP):The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.11, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.12.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278.95 and Rs 279.15, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs 0. 85 and closed at Rs 317.70 from the previous day’s closing of Rs318.55, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen came down unchanged by 01 paisa to close at Rs 1.71, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decline of Rs 0.76 and closed at Rs 371.15 compared to the previous day’s Rs 371.91.
The exchange rates of the Emirate Dirham and the Saudi Riyal declined by 01 paisa each to close at Rs 75.71 and Rs 74.06, respectively.
