President grieved over Fauzia Habib’s death

ISLAMABAD, July 4 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari, Saturday, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of former member of the National Assembly and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Fauzia Habib.

In a condolence message, the president paid tribute to the late Fauzia Habib’s dedicated services to the Pakistan Peoples Party and the nation, adding she rendered valuable contributions to democracy, public service, and the PPP.

The president recalled that Fauzia Habib also served as a member of the staff at Aiwan-e-Sadr during his first presidential term from 2008 to 2013, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.

Describing her death as an irreparable loss to the Pakistan Peoples Party, he prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks in Jannah and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
