Major administrative shake-up in Punjab: 5 key officials transferred from Rawalpindi Division, District, Police admin

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Government of Punjab has transferred five high-ranking officials across the Rawalpindi Division, district administration, and police department. 

Rawalpindi, Jul 03 (APP): In a major administrative reshuffle, the Government of Punjab has transferred five high-ranking officials across the Rawalpindi Division, district administration, and police department.
According to separate notifications issued by Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, the reshuffle impacts top slots including the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner (DC), City Police Officer (CPO), Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), and Assistant Commissioner (AC). The officials have been directed to relinquish their charges with immediate effect and report to their new assignments.
According to the official orders, Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Muhammad Abdul Aamer Khattak (PAS/BS-20) has been transferred from his post. He has been directed to report to the Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD), Government of the Punjab, Lahore, for further orders regarding his next posting.
At the district administration level, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hassan Waqar Cheema (PAS/BS-18) has been transferred and directed to report to S&GAD, Lahore. Replacing him, Capt. (Retd.) Nadeem Nasir (PAS/BS-19), who was serving as Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, has been transferred and posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Rawalpindi.
Further tightening the bureaucratic overhaul, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Rawalpindi Capt. (Retd.) Sheheryar Sherazi (PAS/BS-18) has also been transferred to S&GAD, Lahore. In his place, Capt. (Retd.) Tayyab Sami Khan (PAS/BS-18), currently at the disposal of the Director General of Lahore Development Authority (LDA), has been posted as the new Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Rawalpindi.
The security apparatus and sub-divisional administrative tiers have seen similar changes. City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani (PSP/BS-19) has been transferred with immediate effect and directed to report to the Central Police Office (CPO), Punjab, Lahore, for further orders.
Concurrently, at the tehsil level, Assistant Commissioner Rawalpindi (Sadar) Hakim Khan (PMS/BS-17) has been transferred to the Administration Wing of S&GAD for further orders. He is replaced by Muhamamd Akhtar (PMS/BS-17), previously serving as Assistant Commissioner Kot Momin, who has now been posted as the new Assistant Commissioner Rawalpindi (Sadar). All issued orders, approved by the order of the Governor of Punjab, are to take effect immediately.
