Allottees meet FGEHA project director over Green Enclave-I progress

ISLAMABAD, Jul 3 (APP):Representatives of the Green Enclave-I allottees on Friday met Project Director Green Enclave-I, Mohsin Sardar, at the headquarters of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) to seek an update on the implementation of assurances previously given by Director General Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal regarding the long-delayed housing project.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the allottees, including Chaudhary Amjad Ali, Chaudhary Ahsan ul Haq, Aslam Chaudhary, Rana Arshad, and Tahir Mahmood, who reiterated their demand for the immediate resumption of the remaining development work on the project.
The delegation reminded the Project Director that thousands of government employees had been waiting for nearly 17 years to receive possession of their residential plots despite fulfilling their financial obligations.
They stressed that continued delays were causing financial and emotional hardship to the allottees, many of whom had invested their life savings in the scheme.
Speaking during the meeting, Chaudhary Amjad Ali said, “We have waiting since long. Our families now want practical action and timely completion of the remaining development work,” he said.
Responding to the concerns, Project Director Mohsin Sardar informed the delegation that negotiations with the joint venture (JV) partner had almost been finalized.
He said the mutually agreed terms and conditions will be placed before the Executive Board for approval
