PESHAWAR, Jul 03 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan Friday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police team in Yakka Ghund, Mohmand district in which Additional SHO and a personnel of Elite Force was martyred.
In a condolence statement, the minister paid tribute to the fallen police officers saying those who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty were the pride of the nation.
He described the attack as a cowardly act and said terrorists would never succeed in achieving their malicious objectives.
He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to eliminate menace of terrorism and said KP police had rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the restoration of peace.
Shafi Jan expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs.
