CM Punjab’s Champions League to be held in July

Punjab Sports Board has announced to organise CM Punjab Champions League in the middle of July in which several international and national cricketers alongside talented male and female athletes from across the province will participate.

LAHORE, Jul 02 (APP): Punjab Sports Board has announced to organise CM Punjab Champions League in the middle of July in which several international and national cricketers alongside talented male and female athletes from across the province will participate.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, in this regard, presided over a meeting at the National Hockey Stadium on Thursday. The meeting was attended by Commissioner Inland Revenue Behzad Anwar, Vice President of the Pakistan Railways Sports Board Hamdan Nazir and other officials.
Addressing the meeting, Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said that the tournament will be organized by Sports Board Punjab in collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board, Pakistan Railways, and the Federal Board of Revenue. “The CM Punjab Champions League will provide a platform for players from all divisions of Punjab to demonstrate their sports potential,” he added.
Qureshi said that 12 male teams and four female teams comprising several international and national athletes will participate in the CM Punjab Champions League. “The final of the Champions League will be organised at the Gaddafi Stadium”.
