ABBOTTABAD, Jul 02 (APP): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has withdrawn the work-from-home facility for provincial government employees on Thursday, restoring the normal five-day office routine after the temporary austerity measure introduced during the recent Iran-US conflict.
According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad in light of the provincial government’s directive, Friday will now be observed as a regular working day, and all government employees will be required to attend their offices and perform their duties during the prescribed official working hours.
The work-from-home arrangement had been introduced by the provincial government as part of austerity measures aimed at reducing operational and fuel costs during heightened regional tensions arising from the Iran-US conflict. With the withdrawal of the policy, government offices across the province will resume their normal attendance schedule on Fridays.
The district administration has directed all departments to ensure strict compliance with the revised working arrangements and instructed employees to report to their respective offices in accordance with the official office timings.
