ISLAMABAD, Jul 1 (APP): Under the dynamic leadership of the Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Secretary for Housing and Works, Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Mahmood, and Director General FGEHA, Captain (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal, the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) is taking robust measures to develop Sectors F-14 and F-15 into modern, beautiful, and environment-friendly residential sectors of Islamabad.
In accordance with special directives, a continuous series of meetings, field visits, and administrative initiatives are underway to accelerate development activities, resolve allottees’ grievances, ensure the provision of basic amenities, and guarantee the swift completion of the project.
To maintain the pace of development work and safeguard the rights of compliant allottees, the Authority is maintaining its stringent legal action against defaulters. Mirroring the previous phase, where a strict precedent was set by canceling the allotments and memberships of six (6) plots whose owners had failed to meet their financial obligations since 2016—a similar major crackdown has been executed.
Following thorough scrutiny and recommendations by the special committee constituted under the directives of the Housing Authority’s Executive Board, the plots of thirteen (13) more allottees, who failed to clear their outstanding installments, have been canceled with immediate effect. This decision has been taken with absolute transparency, merit, and in strict compliance with prevailing laws to eliminate financial bottlenecks hindering the project’s progress.
The authority explicitly informs all allottees that the record scrutiny process by the special committee remains actively ongoing. All such allottees who, despite being granted multiple opportunities, have failed to clear their long-standing installments and dues are hereby notified: if they do not fulfill their financial obligations immediately, their allotments will be canceled without any further grace period, and action will be initiated against them in accordance with the law.
The leadership of the Authority reiterates its commitment to transforming Sectors F-14 and F-15 into an environment-friendly, climate-resilient, sustainable, and exemplary residential project aligned with modern urban standards, offering top-tier residential facilities to citizens. The timely completion of the project and the earliest possible handing over of plots to the allottees remain the top priorities of the Authority.
On this occasion, the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority extends its heartfelt gratitude to all those allottees who deposited their outstanding installments on time and fully cooperated in the project’s progress. The cooperation of these responsible allottees has significantly helped maintain the momentum of development works.
