MEPCO issues load shedding schedule for city

The Multan Electric Company (MEPCO) has announced carrying out load-shedding in Bahawalpur for next few days due to repairing work. 

BAHAWALPUR, Jul 01 (APP): The Multan Electric Company (MEPCO) has announced carrying out load-shedding in Bahawalpur for next few days due to repairing work.
According to an official press release, issued by the Executive Engineer, MEPCO Model Town Division, Bahawalpur here, electricity supply from the Model Town Division through the Shahdara and Sutlej Sub-Division 132 kV feeders—including Bindra Pulli, Shahdara, Radio Pakistan, and Model Town feeders will remain suspended on the following schedule due to maintenance work: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 17, 24, and 31 July: 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (3 hours)
It further said that load management will also be carried out on other days including 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, and 30 July:
5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (4 hours)
Consumers served by these feeders are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimize inconvenience during the scheduled power interruptions, the press release concluded.
