SARGODHA, Jul 01 (APP): Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Wednesday presided over a meeting to review performance of the Municipal Corporation Sargodha and discuss future urban development planning.
According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner’s office here, the meeting was attended by the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation and the Municipal Officer (Planning), who briefed the commissioner on the progress of ongoing and proposed development schemes across the city.
A detailed review was conducted of projects related to urban infrastructure, including roads, parks,
green belts, drainage, sanitation and other municipal services.
Addressing the meeting, Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali said that improving civic amenities and accelerating urban development remained the administration’s top priority.
He directed the authorities to utilize all available resources to ensure the provision of quality municipal services to residents.
He also called for effective and sustainable planning to address public issues and enhance the city’s overall appearance.
