KARACHI, Jul 01 (APP): Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, MSC Aquarius-VII, Peonia, Richmond Park and Jacob-H Carrying Container, Palm oil, Chemicals and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal.
Meanwhile three more ships, GSL Rossi, BD Pioneer-I and Oceana Sky scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice and Steel Coil also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them nil ships are left the port & nil ships are expected to sail.
Cargo volume of 153,236 tones comprising 103,411 tones imports cargo and 49,825 export cargo carried in 3,714 Containers (1,283 TEUs Imports & 2,431 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, PGC Yiannios and GSL Rossi & another ship ‘Maersk Cotonou’ carrying LPG and Container are expected to take berths SSGC and QICT respectively on today 1st July, 2026.
