Rescue 1122 deploys water rescue teams along river Swat ahead of monsoon rains

Rescue 1122 Malakand has deployed water rescue personnel and local volunteers at key locations along River Swat as a precautionary measure against possible monsoon rains, rising water levels and potential flooding.

MALAKAND, Jul 01 (APP): Rescue 1122 Malakand has deployed water rescue personnel and local volunteers at key locations along River Swat as a precautionary measure against possible monsoon rains, rising water levels and potential flooding.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the deployment is being carried out under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Nasir Khan to ensure rapid response in case of emergencies.
Water rescue teams equipped with necessary rescue gear have been stationed at sensitive points including Pul Chowki, Batkhela Headworks, Thana Family Park, Joyland Park, Teri and Totakan. Local volunteers have also joined rescue personnel to strengthen preparedness efforts.
Rescue officials said the teams remain on high alert and are continuously monitoring vulnerable locations to respond promptly to any emergency situation.
Citizens have been advised to exercise caution near rivers and canals, avoid entering water unnecessarily and immediately contact the Rescue 1122 helpline in case of any emergency.
