Three young men drowned in a well on Wednesday after attempting to rescue a goat that had fallen in it, the Rescue 1122 sources said.

BAHAWALNAGAR, Jul 1 (APP): Three young men drowned in a well on Wednesday after attempting to rescue a goat that had fallen in it, the Rescue 1122 sources said.
The incident occurred in an outlying settlement of the 28 Gajiani area, where a goat accidentally fell into a well. One of the victims climbed down in an attempt to save the animal but became trapped and drowned, the sources added.
The second young man entered the well to rescue him but also drowned. A third man then descended in an effort to save the other two, but he too lost his life.
The Rescue 1122 teams recovered the bodies from the well and handed them over to the heirs.
The victims were identified as Muhammad Ali 30 years, Zain 22 years and Muhammad Akbar 18 years old.
The sources said two of the deceased were brothers.
The police registered a case and launched investigation.
