SUKKUR, Jun 30 (APP): Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho on Tuesday has commended Khairpur Police for ensuring foolproof security during the 13th Muharram-ul-Haram procession.
Khairpur Police established a fine example of maintaining law and order by ensuring foolproof security arrangements during the 13th Muharram procession. SSP Khairpur and his entire police team deserve applause and congratulations, the IG Sindh said.
He noted that the peaceful conclusion of the Jagir Ali Akbar Kumb mourning procession was the result of Khairpur Police’s effective strategy, professional planning and timely security measures.
During Muharram, Khairpur Police demonstrated commendable responsibility and dedication to protecting the lives and property of citizens and promoting religious harmony, the provincial police chief added.
According to a release issued by DIG Office Sukkur, the Sindh IG said that the effective implementation of the security plan through mutual coordination between Khairpur Police, Rangers and the district administration is praiseworthy. All officers and personnel deserve appreciation.
He also lauded the deployment of foolproof security, effective monitoring, and the timely positioning of QRF and Anti-Riot Force, which ensured a safe environment for participants.
The services of all police officers, personnel and supporting agencies involved in the Muharram security arrangements are highly valued, he added.
