ICT Excise office extends services until 10 pm on June 30 for vehicle registration, tax payments

ISLAMABAD, Jun 30 (APP): The Excise and Taxation Department Islamabad on Tuesday announced that its office will remain open until 10:00 pm today to facilitate citizens seeking motor vehicle-related services.

The extended hours aim to help residents complete pending transactions before the close of the day.

According to the department, citizens can visit the office until 10:00 pm to access a range of services, including new vehicle registration, transfer of ownership, smart card processing, and token tax payments.

Officials said the decision was taken to provide additional time for members of the public who may not be able to visit during regular working hours. The department expects the extended schedule to help reduce inconvenience and allow more people to complete necessary documentation and payment procedures.

Residents have been encouraged to make use of the extended office hours and finalize all pending vehicle registration matters before the office closes at 10:00 pm.

The Excise and Taxation Department stated that all motor vehicle registration services will remain available throughout the extended operating period, ensuring uninterrupted service for applicants.

Citizens planning to register vehicles, transfer ownership, obtain smart card-related services, or pay token taxes have been advised to visit the office before the deadline to avoid delays in processing their requests.
