The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will begin its two-month summer vacation on Wednesday, with Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar remaining on duty throughout the recess, according to an official schedule issued with his approval.
IHC issues judges duty roster for summer vacations

ISLAMABAD, Jun 30 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will begin its two-month summer vacation on Wednesday, with Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar remaining on duty throughout the recess, according to an official schedule issued with his approval.
An office order issued by the deputy registrar general said Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan would be available during July and proceed on leave in August. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir would hear cases from July 1 to 14 before taking leave from July 15 to 31. He would resume duty from Aug. 1 to 16 and remain on leave again from Aug. 17 to 31.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro would be on leave throughout July and return in August. Justice Muhammad Azam Khan would remain available during July and take leave in August, while Justice Muhammad Asif would be on leave in July and resume duties in August. Justice Inaam Ameen Minhas would hear cases until July 26 before proceeding on leave for the remainder of the court vacation.
Despite the summer recess, the court would continue hearing pre-arrest and post-arrest bail applications, previously fixed matters, stay-order cases and other urgent matters requiring immediate attention.
The filing branch would remain open during the vacation. Court proceedings would be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on working days and from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Fridays.
Administrative offices of the Islamabad High Court would remain open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday, while Friday office hours would be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
