The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi (HAR) has intensified beautification and landscaping work at Committee Chowk Children’s Park as part of efforts to enhance recreational facilities and provide residents with a cleaner and healthier environment.

RAWALPINDI, Jun 30 (APP): The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi (HAR) has intensified beautification and landscaping work at Committee Chowk Children’s Park as part of efforts to enhance recreational facilities and provide residents with a cleaner and healthier environment.
According to an HAR spokesperson, the initiative was undertaken on the directions of Managing Director HAR Ahmad Hassan Ranjha to further improve the city’s public spaces, particularly parks frequented by children and families.
The spokesperson said landscaping and beautification activities in various sections of the park had been accelerated, with seasonal flowers and ornamental plants being planted to enhance its aesthetic appeal.
He said special attention was also being given to the maintenance of green areas, including grass cutting, pruning and routine plant care to ensure the park remained in good condition.
Colourful flower beds were being developed in different parts of the park to create an attractive and pleasant atmosphere for visitors, while cleanliness arrangements had also been strengthened through regular maintenance and upkeep activities, he added.
The spokesperson said the condition of children’s play equipment and other amenities in the park was also being reviewed to ensure public safety and improved facilities.
He appealed to citizens to help preserve the cleanliness and beauty of parks and public places by protecting plants and flowers and adopting responsible civic behaviour.
The spokesperson said HAR would continue its efforts to provide residents with a greener, cleaner and more attractive environment, making the city’s recreational spaces increasingly visitor-friendly.
