Meat and and meat preparations exports from the country during the first eleven months of the current financial year increased by 4.91 percent as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of the last year.
Over 106,556 metric tons meat and meat products exported in 11 months

ISLAMABAD, Jun 30 (APP): Meat and and meat preparations exports from the country during the first eleven months of the current financial year increased by 4.91 percent as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of the last year.
During the period from July-May, 2026, over 106,556 metric tons of meat and meat products valued at $489.521 million were exported as compared to the exports of 107,899 metric tons worth of $466.607 million of the same period of the last year, according the data of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
On year on year basis, the meat and meat preparations exports from the country grew by 12.79 percent in May 2026 as compared to the exports of May 2025. The meat exports during the month under review was recorded at 8,890 metric tons worth of $45.623 million as compared to the exports of 9,441 metric tons valued at $40.4450 million of the same month so the last year.
Meanwhile, the exports of fish and fish products from the country registered an increase of 4.18 percent during the first eleven months of the current fiscal year as the country earned $445.247 million by exporting of fish and fish preparations as against $427.371 million of the same period of the last year.
During the period under review, over 199,064 metric tons of fish and fish preparations were exported as compared to the the exports of 198,712 metric tons of the same period of the last year. On a year-on-year basis, seafood exports, however, declined by 8.18 percent to $51.860 million in May 2026 as compared to exports of $56.480 million recorded in May 2025.
On a month-on-month basis, the exports of fish and fish preparations increased by 1.39 percent in dollar terms in May 2026 when compared to exports of $51.149 million in April 2026.
