SANGHAR, Jun 29 (APP): The district administration of Sanghar on Monday reviewed the progress of the recent immunization and anti-polio campaign at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Sarah Javed.
Meeting was attended by officials of the health department, assistant commissioners, representatives of social organisations and other relevant departments in attendance.
The meeting discussed challenges faced during the campaign and measures to address them through coordinated efforts. Participants reiterated their commitment to ensuring that every child across the district receives polio drops and routine immunisation vaccines.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Sarah Javed said every child in Sanghar was important and the administration wanted to see all children healthy and protected from preventable diseases. She directed health officials, parents and concerned departments to work together to ensure that no child was left without vaccination.
She emphasised that collective efforts and effective coordination among all stakeholders were essential for the complete eradication of polio and improvement of child health services in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Abdul Majeed Zehrani, Civil Surgeon Dr Aftab Azam Sariwal, N-STOP Dr Didar Khaskheli, World Health Organisation representative Bilal Ahmed, all assistant commissioners and other concerned officials were also present in the meeting.
