GUJRAT, Jun 29 (APP): District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Akhtar Farooq held an open court at the DPO Complex, where citizens presented their complaints and issues directly.
According to official sources, the DPO heard the grievances of the complainants and directed the relevant police officers to take immediate action on their applications. He instructed the officers concerned to ensure transparent, merit-based and prompt disposal of complaints in accordance with the law. He also directed them to keep complainants informed about the progress of their cases.
The DPO said that timely resolution of public complaints and provision of justice remained the police department’s top priority, adding that such open courts would continue to strengthen public confidence in the police.
