CHINIOT, Jun 29 (APP): Assistant Commissioner Lalian Dr. Muhammad Anas Saeed on Monday conducted surprise visits to the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics at Kanwenwala and Kandiwal on Monday to review the standard of healthcare services being provided to patients.
During the inspections, the Assistant Commissioner examined the availability of medicines, staff attendance, cleanliness and the overall quality of medical facilities. He also received a detailed briefing from doctors and paramedical staff regarding patient care and treatment arrangements at both clinics.
On this occasion, Dr. Anas Saeed also directed the health staff to ensure that all free medical facilities being offered under the Punjab government’s healthcare programme are provided to deserving patients without any discrimination. He warned that negligence or dereliction of duty would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He said the initiative reflects the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services at the grassroots level, enabling people to access essential medical facilities close to their homes.
