IESCO notifies power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Jun 29 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesman, power supply from the Samarzar feeder under the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Similarly, electricity supply from the Adiala, Dhoke Noor, Golra, Azharabad, Zarkoon Heights, New Azharabad, Jhangi, Quaid-e-Azam Hospital, CWO and Shamas Colony feeders under the Rawalpindi City Circle will remain interrupted from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In the Attock Circle, power supply from the Katchery, Dar-ul-Islam Colony and Attock Cantt feeders will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In Chakwal Circle, power will remain suspended from 06:00 am to 10:00 am, CWO, PD Khan, Duffer, feeders.
In GSO Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm, power transformer T-1 132KV GSS R.B Mangla, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore along with related earth switch, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time,
the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
