ATTOCK, Jun 29 (APP): Attock Police and Jarvis Technologies, Rawalpindi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the use of modern technology in policing, aiming to enhance security, surveillance and operational efficiency across the district.
The agreement was signed on Monday under the leadership of District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, Sardar Moorahan Khan. The partnership is designed to strengthen the police force’s technological capabilities and align law enforcement practices with the evolving demands of modern policing.
Under the MoU, Jarvis Technologies will provide technical support for the acquisition and implementation of drone cameras, advanced surveillance systems, smart security solutions, artificial intelligence (AI)-based applications, communication technologies and other state-of-the-art equipment. The collaboration will also focus on improving the professional capacity, welfare and career development of police officers through joint training programmes and capacity-building initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Sardar Moorahan Khan said the adoption of modern technology would significantly enhance effective policing and improve public service delivery. He expressed confidence that the partnership would help modernize Attock Police and enable the department to respond more efficiently to contemporary law enforcement challenges.
