President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, held a meeting with an official delegation from the Department of Art and Design, Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) at SCCI, to discuss arrangements for an upcoming Art & Design Exhibition at the SCCI.
SCCI, GCWUS to organize exhibition
SIALKOT, Jun 29 (APP): President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, held a meeting with an official delegation from the Department of Art and Design, Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) at SCCI, to discuss arrangements for an upcoming Art & Design Exhibition at the SCCI.
The GCWUS delegation included Rubab Fatima, Textile Design Specialist; Raza ur Rehman, Chairperson, Department of Art & Design; and Sohaib, Manager, ORIC.
The meeting focused on planning and coordinating the exhibition, with discussions centered on promoting creativity, innovation, and stronger academia-industry collaboration. Both sides emphasized the importance of providing students with a platform to showcase their artistic talent while fostering meaningful engagement with the business community.
It was mutually decided that the Art & Design Exhibition will be held on July 8 and 9, 2026, at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI). The exhibition will feature the creative works of students from the Government College Women University Sialkot, offering industry representatives an opportunity to appreciate emerging talent and explore potential avenues for collaboration.
