Eight policemen among 10 injured as Truck rams police van, Rickshaw in DI Khan

At least 10 people, including eight police personnel, were injured after a truck collided with a police van and a rickshaw here on Dera-Tank road near Chehkan on Monday.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jun 29 (APP): At least 10 people, including eight police personnel, were injured after a truck collided with a police van and a rickshaw here on Dera-Tank road near Chehkan on Monday.
According to police, the injured policemen were identified as Abdul Sattar, 39, of the Elite Force from Paharpur; Azhar Hussain Bhatti, 42, of the Elite Force from Yarik; Constable Tausiq Haider, 30, of Mitha Pur; Rashid Minhas Marwat, 20, of Giloti; Ghazanfar Ali Laghari of the Elite Force from Mohalla Gariban; Constable Nauman Gandapur of Zafarabad Colony; Constable Shah Mir Arain of Kirri Khaisour; and Constable Hafeez ur Rehman Gandapur of the Elite Force from Gilani Town.
The two injured passengers travelling in the rickshaw were identified as Inamullah, son of Ghulam Hussain, a resident of Budh, and Muhammad Hafeez, son of Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Potta.
All the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan, where the condition of three victims was reported to be critical. The accident occurred after the truck reportedly went out of control and crashed into the police van and the rickshaw.
