The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.17, down from the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.20.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 29 (APP): The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.17, down from the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.20.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 279.00 and Rs 279.20, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 1.39 and closed at Rs 317.24 from the previous day’s closing of Rs 315.85, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen came down by 01 paisa and closed at Rs 1.71, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 0.68 and closed at Rs 367.61 compared to the previous day’s Rs 366.93.

The exchange rates of the Emirate Dirham remained unchanged to close at Rs 75.74, Saudi Riyal declined by 06 paisa an closed at Rs 74.06.
