Rescue 1122 Malakand responds to 100 emergencies in a week

PESHAWAR, Jun 29 (APP):Rescue 1122 Malakand provided emergency response services to a total of 100 incidents of different nature during the week from June 22 to June 28 under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Nasir Khan.
According to the weekly emergency report, Rescue 1122 responded to 58 medical emergencies, 16 road traffic accidents, 15 fire incidents, four cases of firing and violence, two drowning incidents and five recovery operations. Three people lost their lives during the reported period.
The Rescue 1122 control room received 2,349 calls during the week, including 736 information-related or dropped calls, while 1,513 were identified as fake, irrelevant or prank calls made by children.
In addition, Rescue 1122 Malakand carried out services in 33 referral emergencies and safely shifted patients to different hospitals. Of these, nine patients were referred within the district, while 24 were transferred to hospitals outside the district.
