Body found in Sutlej River

LODHRAN, Jun 28 (APP): A body of unidentified man was found floating in Sutlej river near Adam Wahan on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the operation was launched after the Police control room informed rescuers about a body floating along the riverbank. A rescue team rushed to the scene and fished out body from the river.

The body was shifted to the District headquarters hospital, Lodhran.

The deceased has not yet been identified and appeared to be around 50 years of age.

Police took the body into custody and started investigation.
