SIALKOT, Jun 28 (APP):The Department of English, Government College Women University Sialkot, (GCWUS)

proudly launched the 2026 Special Edition of Code & Corpus, a magazine published by

the BS English SSDP students, a release of the varsity said.

Centered on the theme “Language. Data. Intelligence. Analysis.”, the publication reflects

students’ academic excellence, creativity, and engagement with emerging trends in language

and AI.

The launching ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir, who

appreciated the students for producing an innovative publication that bridges language,

technology, and research. She commended the Department of English for fostering a

culture of creativity, critical inquiry, and academic innovation. The Vice Chancellor

emphasized that such initiatives prepare students to excel in a rapidly evolving digital world.

The magazine was developed under the guidance of Dr. Shahida, Project Advisor, with

the dedicated efforts of the editorial team comprising Shanzay Khan, Aleena Usman,

Sidra Murtaza, and Sherlyn Sabir.

The University congratulates the editorial team, Project Advisor, and all contributors

for this outstanding achievement and for adding another milestone to the University’s

tradition of academic excellence.
