ISLAMABAD, Jun 28 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP)  issued a traffic advisory , informing commuters that temporary traffic diversions would be in place on major roads due to the movement of foreign delegations in the federal capital.
An ITP official told APP on Sunday that traffic diversions would be implemented at different times on Express Highway, Jinnah Avenue, Srinagar Highway, Murree Road and Club Road to facilitate the safe movement of foreign delegations.
The official said traffic flow on these roads could remain affected during the movement of the delegations and advised commuters to plan their journeys accordingly.
Citizens were requested to use alternate routes or adjoining service roads wherever possible to avoid inconvenience and traffic congestion.
According to the official, Islamabad Traffic Police personnel would remain deployed on roads to regulate traffic and assist commuters throughout the movement of the delegations.
Motorists were advised to allow extra travel time, cooperate with traffic police officials and exercise patience during temporary traffic diversions.
