Attack on Rangers camp foiled; three Indian proxy Jamaat-ul-Ahrar terrorists killed, one captured

RAWALPINDI, Jun 28 (APP):Three Kharjis terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy Jamaat-ul-Ahrar were killed and one was captured after security forces foiled an attempt to breach the perimeter of a Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) camp in Karachi.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, three Pakistan Rangers personnel embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, while four others sustained injuries, according to a news release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“On 27 June 2026, a cowardly terrorist attack was carried out on a Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Camp in Karachi by Khwarij belonging to an Indian proxy, Jamaat ul Ahrar. The assailants, after a blast at the main gate of the Camp, attempted to breach the perimeter security; however, their nefarious designs were decisively foiled by the vigilant and resolute response of Rangers troops, eliminating three Kharjis and capturing one Kharji, who is an Afghan national, in injured condition,” the news release said.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji in the area as a relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” by the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
Pakistan shall undertake retribution operations against the perpetrators of this attack to avenge the Shahadat of its soldiers.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) expresses his deepest condolences with the families of the brave soldiers. These sacrifices further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs, the news release said.
