IRSA releases 289,400 cusecs water

ISLAMABAD, Jun 28 (APP):Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Sunday released 289,400 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 301,700 cusecs. ISLAMABAD, Jun 28 (APP):Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Sunday released 289,400 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 301,700 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, the water level in the River Indus at Tarbela Dam stood at 1440.82 feet, which was 40.82 feet higher than the dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam were recorded as 177,100 cusecs and 143,900 cusecs, respectively.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1163.20 feet, which was 113.20 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water were recorded as 34,100 cusecs and 55,000 cusecs, respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 187,000, 141,500, 106,100, and 50,100 cusecs, respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 46,600 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera, and 17,100 cusecs were released from River Chenab at Marala.
