The Attock Khurd Police on Saturday foiled a bid to smuggle one kilogram of crystal meth (ice) and arrested a drug smuggler stated to be a member of an inter-provincial gang of narcotics smugglers.

ATTOCK, Jun 27 (APP): The Attock Khurd Police on Saturday foiled a bid to smuggle one kilogram of crystal meth (ice) and arrested a drug smuggler stated to be a member of an inter-provincial gang of narcotics smugglers.
The suspect was identified as Syed Rehman Bacha. The recovered narcotics were taken into custody, while a case has been registered against the accused under Section 9-C of the Anti-Narcotics Act.
Police said further investigation is underway to trace possible links of the suspect with wider drug trafficking networks operating between provinces.
