Speaking to media representatives outside his camp, he said people from all schools of thought had once again observed Ashura with devotion, discipline, and a spirit of brotherhood.
The minister commended Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for ensuring exemplary arrangements for Muharram, saying that, under her directives, the district administration, police, and other relevant departments had implemented effective security and administrative measures. He noted that these coordinated efforts enabled the peaceful conduct of processions and religious gatherings across the district.

He described the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) as an eternal symbol of patience, steadfastness, truth, and justice, urging the Muslim Ummah to embrace these values to promote peace, unity, and social welfare.
The federal minister thanked the organizers of the central Tazia procession, religious organizations, volunteers, and mourners for their exemplary cooperation in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere.
