ISLAMABAD, Jun 26 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Friday issued a traffic diversion plan for the 10th Muharram procession in Sector F-11 and advised commuters to use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.
An ITP official told APP that the procession would commence at 12:00 noon from House No. 366, Street No. 37, Sector F-11/3, while special traffic arrangements had been made to facilitate mourners and maintain smooth traffic flow.
According to the traffic plan, traffic diversions will be implemented at the following points during the procession:
F-11/2 Signal
F-11 Double Road
Naval Colony, Hilal Road
Beaconhouse School near Haideri Chowk
Telenor Plaza
The official advised motorists to use the following alternate routes:
Service Road (Maira Abadi)
Kazmain Chowk
F-10/1 Corners towards Haideri Chowk
Margalla Road
Citizens were requested to use alternate routes during the procession and cooperate with traffic police personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Participants in the procession were advised to park their vehicles and motorcycles only in designated parking areas.
