Aleem Khan pays tributes to Karbala martyrs, says Ashura teaches sacrifice & patience

ISLAMABAD, Jun 25 (APP):Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, in his special message on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashur, stated that Ashura is an enduring symbol of the supremacy of Islam, sacrifice, patience and unwavering perseverance.

He said that the legacy of Ashura will continue to serve as a beacon of guidance for Muslims throughout the ages, said a press release issued on Thursday.

Aleem Khan said that the supreme sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala stand as an eternal criterion distinguishing truth from falsehood and remain a shining example for all humanity.

He emphasized that the tragedy of Karbala conveys a timeless message of standing firm against oppression, tyranny, and injustice while remaining steadfast in one’s principles. He further stated that the unparalleled sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala taught the Muslim Ummah the values of selflessness, loyalty, patience, perseverance and devotion to truth.

Despite enduring immense trials and hardships, the Family of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) upheld the banner of truth and their noble character continues to serve as a source of inspiration and guidance for humanity, Abdul Aleem Khan added.

President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Abdul Aleem Khan said that Youm-e-Ashur reminds us of the profound lessons of patience, steadfastness, sacrifice and submission to the will of Almighty Allah. He stressed that, in the current circumstances, there is a greater need than ever before to promote national unity, religious harmony, brotherhood and mutual respect as these values are essential for national progress, stability and prosperity.

Paying tributes to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies and security personnel for safeguarding the country’s peace and security, Abdul Aleem Khan said that all those who have laid down their lives in defense of the homeland and for the establishment of peace are a source of pride for the nation. He added that the nation will always remember these heroes and their unparalleled sacrifices and will never forget their contributions.

He prayed that Almighty Allah bless Pakistan with peace, unity, progress, and stability, and grant us the ability to follow the message of truth, patience, and sacrifice exemplified by the martyrs of Karbala.
