RAWALPINDI, Jun 25 (APP):A delegation of Rooh Forum met Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority Rawalpindi Muhammad Yaseen Khan Baloch and discussed educational, moral and character development of students and teachers.
The delegation comprised Patron-in-Chief Col Murtaza Ali Shah, President APPSMA North Punjab and Member District Registration Authority Ibrar Ahmed Khan, and Director North Region Step Academy Muhammad Zeeshan.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on character building, intellectual and moral development, and modern educational requirements in private institutions.
Col Murtaza Ali Shah said Rooh Forum was working for the academic, moral and spiritual development of youth in the light of the Holy Quran, love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the philosophy of Allama Iqbal.
Muhammad Yaseen Khan Baloch appreciated the educational services of Colonel Murtaza Ali Shah and said efforts for grooming the younger generation were commendable. He said equipping students with strong character, modern knowledge and positive thinking was essential for national development.
He added that promotion of skill-based and practical education in line with contemporary demands was imperative. Students should be introduced to the concept of “learn and earn” to enable them to become self-reliant and responsible citizens.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue mutual cooperation for promotion of education, teachers’ training, character building and positive guidance of youth.
