Pakistani-Americans celebrate Pakistan’s role in promoting regional, international peace
NEW YORK, Jun 25 (APP)::Pakistan’s role as a mediator and facilitator that contributed to easing tensions between the United States and Iran was hailed at a community event organized by PML-N, USA.
The event was attended by representatives of various political parties and a large number of Pakistani-Americans from the tri-state area on Wednesday.
Pakistan’s Consul-General in Aamer Ahmed Atozai was the chief guest.
Speakers paid tribute to Pakistan and its leadership for their constructive role in promoting peace, dialogue, and regional stability.
They highly commended the vision and statesmanship of the current leadership of Pakistan, as well as the professionalism, preparedness, and unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces in safeguarding national interests and contributing to regional peace and security.
Addressing the gathering, the Consul General underscored Pakistan’s consistent commitment to peace, dialogue, and diplomacy as the preferred means for resolving differences and promoting regional and international stability.
