Bilawal, Aleem discuss GB government affairs, political cooperation
ISLAMABAD, Jun 24 (APP):Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Abdul Aleem Khan on Wednesday discussed the political situation and government affairs of Gilgit Baltistan during a meeting held at Parliament House.
The meeting was attended by senior PPP leader and Member of the National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. Representing the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party were Members of the National Assembly Aoun Chaudhry, Gul Asghar Baghor and Munazza Hassan, said a press release.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Abdul Aleem Khan exchanged views on the current political landscape in Gilgit-Baltistan and discussed matters related to the formation of the Government. It is noteworthy that the two leaders also exchanged goodwill and warm sentiments during the meeting.
Leaders of both the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party agreed to further strengthen their ongoing political cooperation in Gilgit-Baltistan and to continue moving forward through mutual consultation and coordination.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the overall political situation in the country and various parliamentary matters.
