PRA extends working hours, cancels holidays to achieve targets
LAHORE, Jun 23 (APP):Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has extended office working hours and cancelled weekly holidays in order to ensure the achievement of revenue targets for the ongoing fiscal year ending June 30.
PRA spokesperson disclosed to media here Tuesday that working hours of all PRA offices, including the headquarter, have been extended. Weekly holidays on Saturday and Sunday for PRA officers have also been cancelled.
A notification in this regard has been issued on the directions of PRA Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Sipra. Under the revised schedule, all PRA offices will remain operational from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm until June 30, 2026.
The spokesperson stated that the decision to extend office hours has been taken to further strengthen and expedite revenue collection efforts and ensure the successful achievement of the Authority’s revenue targets.
