SIALKOT, Jun 23 (APP):The department of computer science at Grand Asian University (GAUS) organized a Water Conservation Activity under the UI Green Metric initiative to promote
awareness about the importance of water conservation and responsible water usage.The activity aimed to educate students and staff on the need to preserve water resources and adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives. Through informative awareness sessions and practical demonstrations, participants were introduced to simple yet effective measures for reducing water wastage at home, on campus, and in the workplace.Faculty members highlighted the growing importance of water conservation in addressing environmental challenges and ensuring the sustainable management of natural resources. Participants were encouraged to play an active role in protecting water resources
by adopting mindful consumption practices.
The event successfully fostered awareness about sustainable water-use practices
and underscored the critical role of water conservation in safeguarding the environment
and securing a sustainable future for coming generations.
