RAWALPINDI, Jun 23 (APP):Punjab government has launched the issuance of Juvenile Driving Permits for teenagers aged 16 to 18 years, enabling them to legally ride motorcycles and scooters while promoting safe and responsible driving practices.
Following directives from the DIG Traffic Punjab, City Traffic Police Murree, under the supervision of Chief Traffic Officer Murree Munir Ahmed Hashmi, has formally started issuing the permits.
Traffic police officials urged students, parents, and young riders to take advantage of the facility by obtaining permits from designated licensing centers. They said the initiative will encourage compliance with traffic laws and foster responsible driving habits among youth.
The City Traffic Police also reminded citizens that riding a motorcycle without a valid permit or driving license is a legal violation and urged young motorists to fulfill all legal requirements to ensure their own safety and that of others on the road.
