Rangers, police conduct joint flag march in Mithi for Muharram security
HYDERABAD, Jun 23 (APP):A joint flag march of Rangers and police was conducted in Mithi in connection with the security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar, Abdul Haleem Jagirani, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tharparkar, Arif Aziz and Wing Commander Pakistan Rangers, Lieutenant Colonel Khurram Saleem.
According to details, the participants of the flag march visited various areas including Mithi, Diplo and Village Verhijhap and reviewed arrangements related to law and order, security, cleanliness and other civic facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Abdul Haleem Jagirani and SSP Arif Aziz said that Tharparkar was a peaceful district where people respect each other’s faiths and share one another’s joys and sorrows.
They said that no compromise would be made on maintaining law and order and that all possible measures would be taken to ensure peace during Muharram-ul-Haram. They warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found violating the law.
