Sarfraz Bugti reaffirms merit-based reforms, encourages youth to excel in education, competitive exams

QUETTA, Jun 23 (APP):Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to merit, transparency, and equal opportunities, stressing that practical measures would continue to harness the potential of the youth.
The CM held separate meetings with provincial ministers, parliamentary secretaries, members of the provincial assembly, government officials, and political and social figures. The discussions focused on the province’s overall political situation, the pace of development projects, resolution of public issues, and the promotion of good governance.
Among those who met the CM were Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Provincial Minister for Industries Sardar Kohyar Khan Domki, Provincial Minister for Communications Mir Saleem Khan Khosa, Provincial Minister for Food Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar, Advisor on Labour and Manpower Sardar Ghulam Rasool Umrani, Provincial Minister for Home Mir Ziaullah Langove, Parliamentary Secretary Mir Abdul Majeed Badini, and several members of the provincial assembly, including Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai and Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Kabzai.
Other participants included Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade Bilawal Khan Kakar, focal person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme in Balochistan Naeem Karim, PPP’s Provincial General Secretary Rabani Khan Kakar, former Provincial Minister Mir Naseebullah Marri, Chairman District Council Dera Bugti Wadera Ghulam Nabi Shambhani, and social activist Dr Hayat Khan Ghilzai.
The CM also met Mahnoor Baloch, a talented student from Balochistan who secured a position among the top ten in the recent CSS examination. He praised her outstanding achievement as a source of pride for the province and presented her with a souvenir in recognition of her success. He stated that students like Mahnoor represent the bright future of Balochistan and serve as role models for other young people.
Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the provincial government is providing every possible facility to youth in education, competitive examinations, and professional fields so they can excel and bring pride to Balochistan at both national and international levels.
He reiterated that the government will continue to pursue reforms based on merit, transparency, and equal opportunities, ensuring that the talents of the province’s youth are fully utilized.
