DIG Tariq reviews security arrangements at duty points

ISLAMABAD, Jun 23 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq on Tuesday visited various duty points across the federal capital and reviewed security arrangements to ensure effective policing and public safety.
An official told APP the DIG Tariq met police officers and personnel deployed at different locations and assessed the overall security preparedness in view of ongoing operational requirements.

Tariq conducted a detailed inspection of security measures and checked the performance and alertness of officers performing duties in the field.
DIG Tariq issued necessary directions to the deployed personnel and emphasized the importance of vigilance, discipline and professionalism while performing their responsibilities.
He directed officers to carry out their duties with dedication and remain fully prepared to respond effectively to any untoward situation.
DIG Tariq also appreciated the commitment of police personnel and stressed the need for maintaining a high standard of security across the capital.
Muhammad Jawad Tariq reiterated that protection of citizens’ lives and property remained the foremost priority of Islamabad Police and directed all officers to continue performing their duties with commitment and a strong sense of responsibility, the official added.
