The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) achieved another milestone under its “Adopt a Park” campaign by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Crescent Educational Trust for the maintenance and development of Fatima Jinnah Park, Shadman.

LAHORE, Jun 23 (APP):The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) achieved another milestone under its “Adopt a Park” campaign by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Crescent Educational Trust for the maintenance and development of Fatima Jinnah Park, Shadman.
Under the agreement, Crescent Educational Trust has formally adopted Fatima Jinnah Park and will undertake its maintenance, preservation, and further improvement in collaboration with the PHA.
The MoU was signed in the presence of PHA Chairman Ghazali Saleem Butt and Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmed. On behalf of the PHA, Director Coordination Farah Diba signed the agreement, while Colonel (R) Muhammad Ali, General Manager Administration of Crescent Educational Trust, signed on behalf of the trust.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Additional Managing Director Mabina Raja Sandhu, Director Finance Ahmed Saad Minhas, and other senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion, PHA Chairman Ghazali Saleem Butt said that the protection and preservation of parks and trees is a national responsibility. He described the “Adopt a Park” initiative as an excellent example of public-private partnership and institutional collaboration aimed at enhancing the city’s green spaces.
He said the involvement of private organizations is playing a significant role in making Lahore’s parks more attractive, vibrant, and well-maintained.
