Former president of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Iftikhar Ali Malik on Tuesday urged the business community and people from all walks of life to donate blood generously to the Sundas Foundation, saying that a single pint of blood can save three precious lives.

LAHORE, Jun 23 (APP):Former president of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Iftikhar Ali Malik on Tuesday urged the business community and people from all walks of life to donate blood generously to the Sundas Foundation, saying that a single pint of blood can save three precious lives.

In a message issued here on the occasion of World Blood Donation Awareness Week, he said several organizations were collecting blood across the country to help patients suffering from various ailments, particularly through the efforts of the Sundas Foundation under the leadership of its founder and President, Dr Muhammad Yasin Khan (Sitara-i-Imtiaz).

He paid tribute to the foundation for its outstanding services for patients suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia and other blood-related disorders. He said thousands of patients, especially children, relied on regular blood transfusions for survival and required continuous support from society.
